Youths contribute their mite to Kerala relief

PORT BLAIR, Aug 29:A group of youths has raised Rs. 52,700/ in just three days for Kerala Flood relief. They collected the money from local shopkeepers and the general public with the intention of donating all the collected money to the Chief Minister's Distress Relief Fund. They handed the money on August 27, 2018 to Dhiraj Jha, Chief Manager, SBI, Port Blair who lauded the noble work done by the youths headed by Ehtesham Ahmed Khan, Shubhankar Halder, Anshika Mandal, Pallavi Mandal, Salman Khan and Vicky Wao who also have their own Youtube channel i.e. VickyWao.

Sri Vijaya Puram, Sept 25: A campaign demanding greater respect for India's martyrs at the historic Cellular Jail in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands has gained momentum. The movement calls for the jail, a "National Memorial," to be declared a "National Pilgrimage Site." Activists are advocating for free entry to the light and sound show for island residents and a nominal fee of Rs.30 for outside tourists.
