Port Blair, April 24: Ms. Zohra Banu, daughter of Mohammed Haneefa from Calicut, South Andaman, has made it to the Civil Services by clearing the UPSC Civil Services Examination 2023 with an All India Rank (AIR) of 469. An alumna of Port Blair's Ummat Public School and a graduate in B.Tech CSE from Andhra University, Zohra Banu is reported to be pursuing further studies at IIT Madras.
This accomplishment is
a testament to her dedication, perseverance, and hard work, says the Andaman
Moplah Service Organization (AMSO), representing the entire Moplah community,
in congratulating Zohra Banu and her proud family on this remarkable feat.
In recognition of her
outstanding achievement, Shri Devesh Chandra Srivastva, IPS, DGP, A&N
Police, presented a memento in her honor at Police Headquarters; WITH YOU, a
dedicated NGO focused on supporting aspiring individuals, honored Ms. Banu with
a bouquet, shawls, and a memento, symbolizing the NGO's recognition of her
hard-earned success. Additionally, the AIKMCC Andaman State Committee
felicitated her at her residence in Calicut and congratulated her for her
well-deserved success in qualifying the UPSC exams.
