* West Bengal has become a haven for Bangladeshis,
while the Andaman and Nicobar Islands provide refuge for Bangladeshis. The 2021
Census of India, which is the 16th edition, has been postponed until October
2023, now the calendar is lost. However, as of 2022, Wikipedia lists the
population as 434,192. The precise figure, however, is yet to be officially
determined by the relevant authorities.
* Local newspapers have reported a noticeable
influx of population on these islands over the past several years. Eventually,
former DGP Shri Satyendra Garg, IPS, uncovered several cases of Rohingyas who
were granted residential certificates by certain politicians. Has the illegal
process of issuing all the necessary documents to prove that they are
'islanders' been stopped?
* The vehicle registration mark series in the
Andaman and Nicobar Islands is approaching AN01-V, indicating that
approximately 2.10 lakh vehicles (excluding official and defense personnel
vehicles) are registered in the region. With a population of 3.80 lakh
according to the 2011 census, this highlights the urgent need for the
Government of India and the A&N Administration to adopt environmentally
friendly and infrastructure-appropriate measures.

community engagement, attracting participants who share a common goal of
creating a positive, drug-free environment.

onboard, sparking accusations of misuse of public resources. The public has
demanded clarification from the A&N Administration, seeking answers to key
questions: Was the trip official or personal? Why were family members onboard?
What urgent need justified diverting the ship during a festive season? With
public trust at stake, the A&N Administration faces mounting pressure to

awaited.

bumpy and uneven surface due to the negligence of the road-making authorities.
The Port Blair Municipal Council (PBMC) typically addresses road issues by
leveling them with mud and other materials, but unfortunately, proper bitumen
and metal chips are not used. Consequently, residents along the route are
exposed to dust inhalation, and there have been instances of it entering
people's eyes, leading to an increased risk of accidents and a shortened
lifespan for vehicles.

* In the Andaman and
Nicobar Islands, everyone attains citizenship simultaneously, particularly
newcomers. The PBMC, Electricity, and CS&CA Departments lack records,
dating back to even before 2004. The Tsunami obliterated both old and new
residences on these Islands, proving to be a fortunate turn of events for those
who arrived later. Those old individuals under the general category are the
ultimate losers.

21/12/2023* Life of a youth made
valueless by the authorities in these A&N Islands. To save the life,
officials could not pass on the urgent information properly. The Helicopter and
speed motor boat fuels are made costlier than a human life. The only dismay is
being born, brought-up and trusting the govt. authorities of these Islands.
* An idea that could
positively impact the tourism industry is to establish a zoological park on one
of these islands. As part of this initiative, interested local youths could be
recruited for various posts/ roles involving animals such as lions, tigers,
horses, monkeys, donkeys, zebras, etc. These recruits would wear high-quality
masks imported with originality to represent/resemble those animals and
interact with visitors within the park. This approach would create 100%
employment opportunities exclusively for Islanders, eliminating the possibility
for mainlanders to apply.

expectations are in vain.

Ships are scheduled only once every ten days, and even then, the conditions on
the ships can be unbearable, resulting in a journey lasting up to 12 hours.
Unfortunately, government employees stationed in these challenging areas
continue to endure hardships even after completing their tenures of transfer.
* The Department of
Shipping Services needs to prearrange the deployment of a vessel, anticipating
the exodus of thousands of pilgrims from these Islands who are set to gather
for the Makarajyothi darshan at Sabarimala, Kerala. The proactive scheduling is
crucial to ensure the timely and efficient transportation of the pilgrims to
Sabarimala for the auspicious Makarajyothi darshan, a significant event in the
pilgrimage to Lord Ayyappa's shrine.

* An idea that could
further enhance the tourism sector in these islands is to introduce a horseback
riding experience in Andaman City without actual horses. We can achieve this by
launching electric bikes equipped with smooth shock absorbers and a horn that
produces the sound of a horse's neigh. Tourists can pay for a 10-minute ride,
and after the bike ride, they will find it similar to a horseback ride, and say
thanks to the city's potholes.

in the city, which are supposed to be extravagant, are in a shabby condition.
Even "A" series private buses are better maintained than these silent

* The Congress Party
in these islands has become very active in the last 2-3 years. Various leaders
are doing their best to motivate aspiring candidates for government jobs and
sports, organizing programs with elderly people, and visiting the North to
South Andaman Islands while working for the welfare of the people. In contrast,
local BJP leaders seem to mind their own business calmly.
* Scientists are day
by day advancing the technology, but they failed to prepare a proper machine
for lie detection. Whenever a situation is confronted to decide who is true and
who is wrong in many cases the machine may help the judicial system to decide
what truth is. Similarly, it is also observed that many cases are kept pending
in various Hon'ble Courts of Law in India, if we could train and use the Artificial
Intelligence technology in the judicial system that would be a vast possibility
to solve all the pending cases and we could give justice to the so-called
fast-track courts.
* What would happen if every individual Government Officer in the Andaman and Nicobar Administration carried out their duties judiciously? While this might seem unrealistic to expect, educational institutes would operate without irregularities; consumers could enjoy uninterrupted power supply; corruption would not prevail in government/public works; and the quality of production would improve. Only then could people in general aspire to think at a higher level and innovate something new.

in the Smart City lack proper pathways. Due to the expansion of residential
houses from either side, foot paths become narrow ways. At many locations even
two persons can't move at one go through the narrow paths, the actual width of
the municipal footpath has to be 3 mtrs. but on ground the decreased size is up
to 1.5 mtrs. and below can be seen in many PBMC wards. If any untoward fire or
other accidents occur, nobody would be able to save the lives or property and
ultimately, the District Administration would be bounded to release ex-gratia
relief funds.

consumers remain prey to power cuts. Despite this, they pay bills timely or
along with fines, even if increased electricity charges. Tiny children, school
children, college students, computer based working people all of a sudden are
forced to become upset. In addition, the humidity irritating all time.

* Why Govt. Jobs craze
on rise? It has financial safety, tension free life, assured salaries and other
benefits. It also has limited responsibilities to work on and limited time of
duty. Accordingly, one can plan the future for their dependents.
* What is meant for
“Freedom” in the modern layman's view? “We can go anywhere and consume liquor
and other drugs, we can sleep roadside anywhere, and we can spit anywhere”!
What is meant for “Freedom” in the greedy people’s view? “We can encroach lands
and expand the possession, sell products at high rates, and can do corruption”!
What is meant for “Freedom” in the moneyed and powered people’s view? “We can
do anything we want, we can bend the rules and regulations, and we can escape
if apprehended”!

Scientists for everything! You have made the human laziest being in the planet,
most dependent being on medicines for life, and thanks for now working towards

duty will be kept for human is to just eat and go to toilet.
* The Environment Day
has come and gone, tree plantation drive is conducted and days or few months
old tree saplings planted as a damage control to the environment with photography
set up against maintaining balance with already deforested more than 40 to 60
years old trees. Now the million dolor question is! Would the planted tree
sapling release equal oxygen to 40 to 60 yrs old tree? Is there any guarantee
that the trees saplings will grow up to the size of a young tree, at least?
* Another, hurdle for the Islanders’ development is power suspension! Due to a wrong and under estimation, the variation between supply and demand of electricity has been missed out. That is how the supply portion of electricity is being disturbed to fulfill the demand by distributing electricity among all legal and illegal consumers in S/Andaman.

degree C, while Andaman is unaffected till the last year's, but this season
hits the 37 degree C, in addition length of the summer season is also
increased.
* Let us become one
among developed nations by installing ACs, Inverters in every home in our
country and purchase water from other countries or drill the bore-wells and
sell to others. Cut the forests and mountains and raise uncountable tall
buildings. If, that is still insufficient, let us live in the undersea flats!
Don't worry scientists will find way to live anywhere in the planet or beyond
too?
* Until and unless the
intentions of humans change nothing would be changed in A&N Islands. What
exactly goes on with a single goal is, Govt. employees working for salaries,
private employees working for their family survival, businessmen for profits
and nothing more than that. Those who are best in their fields, we could see
them as statues, busts and we are observing and celebrating the days
accordingly. Nobody could follow them on the earth so far.

suggests to patients, if you go to the mainland the doctors there will operate
like we do here also you require to bear travelling and accommodation charges.
It would be better if you provide equipment and required operation materials so
we could do that operation here itself. Now it is up to you to decide. If we have
capable doctors to operate patients here itself, then why doesn't the
Directorate of Health Services procure the required equipment and operation
materials for the use in GB Pant Hospital. Is any unofficial Ayushman Bharat
scheme running here in A&N Islands?
